Mazi, meaning 'together' in Greek, is a learning center for refugee minors aged 12-17 on Samos, Greece. We offer informal education, recreational activities and a safe and friendly space for the children to thrive. Minors living in the refugee camp have no access to public education, and children aged 12-17 have no access to education of any kind.
We offer refugee children attending our education programs dental and optical healthcare. Many of our children have been denied such medical attention for years and come to us in pain or unable to carry out basic tasks due to their conditions. Our healthcare program provides critical cases with the necessary medical attention.
